The overall goal of the Versailles Area Chamber of Commerce is to promote and encourage increased business while providing opportunities for members to connect, collaborate, and support one another. We work to strengthen our local economy and community through networking, promotion, and events—and we would be pleased to have you join us.

Networking

Networking is one of the keys to a successful business. Word-of-mouth connections account for 75–80% of business referrals, and the Chamber provides many opportunities to build those connections. Through meetings, events, and activities, you’ll meet and interact with a wide range of local business leaders and professionals.

Our newsletter is distributed to all members and highlights new businesses and their products and services. As members become familiar with your business, they feel more comfortable referring customers who are looking for what you provide. Our goal is to keep business local by supporting and promoting our community merchants.

Referrals

The Chamber office regularly receives calls from people seeking specific products and services. These inquiries are referred directly to Chamber members, providing valuable exposure and business opportunities. By sharing information about your services with us, we can better connect potential customers with your business.

 

Each year, we send out hundreds of relocation and visitor packets. Member businesses that provide brochures or flyers can have their information included, giving you the opportunity to introduce your business to people who are new to the area or planning a visit.

Chamber membership automatically includes a listing on our website at versailleschamber.com, which is connected with the Convention & Visitors Bureau. Thousands of visitors access the site each year to find local businesses, services, events, and community information.

Your listing allows visitors to click on your business name and view your dedicated page with key details such as services, contact information, and location. We also promote local events, school activities, and other community happenings through the site.

While we work hard to support local businesses, we also enjoy bringing the community together through events like the Olde Tyme Apple Festival, Olde Tyme Christmas, and many other activities throughout the year.
