The Versailles Olde Tyme Apple Festival™ Apple Pie Contest

The Versailles Olde Tyme Apple Festival™ Apple Pie Contest, proudly sponsored by State Farm Insurance, is a sweet tradition you won’t want to miss!

 

Entries will be accepted from 3:00–6:00 PM on Friday, October 2nd at the State Farm office.

 

Winners will be announced during the Apple Pie Auction on Saturday, October 3rd, held at the main stage on the north side of the courthouse following the marching band awards.

Contest Rules & Details

• One entry per person

• Entries must be a whole, unsliced apple pie

• A tasting slice will be cut from each pie at the event (no additional sample required)

• Pies must be submitted in a disposable pan (pans will not be returned)

• Judging will be based on appearance and taste

 

All entries will be auctioned off on Saturday, with proceeds benefiting scholarships for graduating seniors of Versailles High School.
